Crayfish as a Model Taxon in Primary and Secondary School

This thesis brings a review of the crayfish topic. It aims to be useful for teachers who decide to explore the topic deeper with the class. The theoretical part stars with crayfish seen from the historical and cultural point of view and crayfish as an important source of food for humans. In the following chapters, systematics and global distribution of crayfish is disscused as well as their morphology and anatomy with the aim to highlight facts, that can be used in lessons. After that, six species living in the Czech republic are introduces, all the native species and signal crayfish, spiny-cheek crayfish and marbled crayfish. Than we focus on the position of crayfish in food webs and also on all factors that threaten the populatons of native species: influencing and regulating the riverbeds, competition with invasive species (vectors of crayfish plague), other parasites and pathogenes and also the influence of drought and the climate changes. The last chapter of the theoretical part discusses the different approaches to crayfish protection, repatriation of the native species, but also the approaches which aim to limit the spreading of invasive species including their elimination. History of education in Milevsko in the 20th Century

This bachelor's thesis focuses on the history of education in Milevsko from 1937 to 1953, primarily on the First T. G. Masaryk's Primary School. The first and second chapters concern the history of the town and its education. The third and fourth chapters describe the everyday life at the primary school in the pre-, during, and post-war periods. This thesis also covers the teaching staff and principals performing their duties during the stated period. Furthermore, it addresses the pupils and their education. Important events affecting the school's operations are also mentioned in this thesis. Lastly, this thesis deals with regular school events and is composed primarily of school and town chronicles.

This bachelor thesis deals with the history of an elementary school in Zliv in 1889-1945. The introduction is focused on the history of the town and the history of education in Zliv. Due to the complexity of this topic, this thesis is focused only on a primary school in Zliv. The core of this thesis is comprised of two chapters, which are focused on the life at Zliv's primary school in the pre-war, interwar and war periods. This work describes the teaching staff and the headteachers who worked at school in the given period. Furthermore, it deals with the pupils and their school education in the given period. This work also includes important events which influenced the school's activity. The last topics, which this thesis deals with, are regular school events and celebrations. This bachelor thesis is mainly based on school chronicles and chronicles of the town.

Importance of Insects to Humans and their Use in School Education

The thesis describes insects (class insecta) as an important group of organisms living in almost all ecosystems. It investigates the importance of insects for humans not only from a human point of view. First part focuses on the positive impact of insects for humans and their use in many areas of human life, such as agriculture, insect products, forensic entomology, medicine and others. The following part focuses on insect pests, parasites and synanthropic species a human being can encounter during one's life. Next parts describe the possibilities of including insects in lessons at schools; a content analysis of textbooks for elementary schools and high schools from the viewpoint of benefits of insects for humans; and a questionnaire survey of popularity of insects, their breeding and entomophagy focused on pupils of elementary schools. History of school in the town - village Vráto in the years 1929-1989

The thesis deals with the foundation and development of the primary school in the village of Vráto between the years 1929 and 1989. In its five thematic parts it pays attention to the basic characteristics of the period in question, including religious situation, school management, pedagogical activities as well as the public life of the school. With each period of time there is a focus on political and society-wide events which substantially influenced the running of the school and thus also the lives of the teachers, children and their families. The major source of information was drawn from the school chronicle.

Individual chapters are in detail focused on the life at a girls' primary school in pre-war, interwar and war period. The work specifically describes the teaching staff and the head teachers, who worked at the school in that period. It also deals with the pupils and their school teaching related to this specific time period. In this thesis are also listed important events which in some way interfered with the running of the school. The last aspects, which the work deals with, are regular school events, special school events, celebrations and events arising from a certain time. This bachelor thesis is mainly based on school chronicles and chronicles of the town.
Educational system in Borovany in 1918-1948 in the light of chronicles

This bachelor thesis describes development of education and training in Borovany between 1918-1948. The work is divided into five chapters that follow each other chronologically and include a description of the development of education in Borovany by information from school chronicles. These chapters are further divided thematically. At the beginning of these thesis is described the history of the town and its schools, which serve the general view on this subject. The next chapters that are aimed directly at some specific period in which it is mapped events that affected education in Borovany. This is especially the period after the establishment of independent Czechoslovakia, World War II and the postwar period. The work should contribute to the mapping of education in Borovany in the period 1918-1948.
